Lake Michigan Circle Tour 2011

Hello fellow Monster enthusiasts!

I am taking a solo ride around Lake Michigan on my black 1997 Monster at the end of July; either leaving on the 28th after work of the 29th. Planning on taking 5 days to complete a nice and easy pace... Returning to Chicago on Tuesday the 2nd. If you see a guy on a Monster with saddle bags taking his sweet azz time, wave or say hello!

How are you coming through Wisconsin?  South to North or North to South.  I've been looking at a similar ride.  I rode  over to Two Rivers up to Door County last year and did a stretch along the West side of the Bay of Green Bay a couple of weeks ago.  Nice riding.  I've been thinking about riding up into the UP and around to Mackinaw.  The Chicago, Milwaukee part of the ride is what freaks me out about it.  I don't like riding in cities even in a cage. 

If you want some company for part of your ride, need a place to bunk or want to meet up for a meal - let me know.

The plan is from Chicago to Green Bay, Green Bay to Manistique, Manistique to Makinaw City, Mackinaw to Muskegan, then back home. Nothing is set in stone,
I will be free as a bird!!!

I am planning on doing this one myself later this year. I want to make it my Iron Butt 1000 mile ride.
