If they do it I hope they use frame from the 848 though and not based on the Monster. I think an 1100 2V motor in the 848 frame would strike the ideal balance between road and track bike.  |

I think an 1100 2V motor in the 848 frame would strike the ideal balance between road and track bike. it would make more sense than the Monster frame. the current superbike frame and suspension, the 1100 motor bumped up some cc and hp, and maybe a 900 version  |

Ducati has almost always had an "SS" model. It would be bizarre if they did not come out with a new one.
