ProTunes feedback requested

I have a 2009 M1100 with BoomTubes and stock air filter. The bike comes from the factory pretty lean and the BoomTubes don't help. I think the fact that it is so lean is contributing to some hard cold start issues I am experiencing. I had the bike on a dyno and measured an air fuel ration near 16. So I was thinking of getting the ECU reflashed. I called MotoWheels which distributes the ProTunes and they suggested the stage 5 map, designed for air filter modification and race slip-on. Does anyone have any feedback on the ProTunes system? Do you think the fact that I do not have the airfilter mod might make the bike too rich? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I see it has been awhile since you posted your problem and I was wondering if u ever did put a richer tune on the bike and if it fixed the hard start issues. I also have an 09 1100. And have the same problem. I've read thru everything on these forums and haven't found a fix that works for mine yet and I was thinking about putting an even richer tune than what the termi ecu comes with. My starting issues start about 65F and below.
