Mine lines up ok, you have to use the sleeves to match the hole.
I can photograph mine and show how it looked.
I think you should make a video....

Yeah; I got the sleeve bit figured out but nothing short of an act of Congress is gonna get the pin to line up any better than what's shown in my pic. I'm wondering if the arm that the pin fits into wasn't welded on upside down.
I guess I'll chalk it up to cheap ebay shit. Bummer that it would cost as much as the stand in freight to send it back. If it wouldn't be a huge inconvenience, a pic might actually be helpful...
Thanks.

I'd remove the CF front fender until you get the knack of it. Give you more room to maneuver the arm close to the tire and protect the fender from scratching or damage when you lower the bike and the stand falls off the triple hole and whacks the fender.
How about lifting the stand off the ground. You can then handle the arm close to the fender surface and line up the pin better.

So, yeah. I'm retarded.
The only "trick" is assembling the stupid thing correctly; once I figured out where the hinge pins fit into th equation, we were golden.

Man wish I had saw this thread sooner! I bought a t-rex triple stand for like 80 bucks. After shipping it was like 110... =(

That's still not a bad deal in the grand scheme of things.

I ask this because I see no mention of it in the ebay listing. Can I use this as a rear stand for a DSS Monster? I have no use right now for a front triple tree stand but at that price, it's pretty cheap for a rear stand if this actually acts as one.

The lower triple on my 998 doesn't appear to have a hole. How, or does, this work with with it?

yes, mine came with paddles and with spool mounts. you can install either the rear stuff of the front stuff.

no idea. i believe it has to have a place for the pin to enter the steering stem.

Showed up today.
Seemed to work fine, pulled forks out to send them to Racetech.
I think I'll drill a hole for a pin so once the front end is in the air that it can't rotate (read as fall).

Thanks ducatiz,
without reading this I may never have taken the time to have my front end fixed and would have written off the 1k as crap suspension.
My bike sat on this stand for two week without any other support, I'd say I got my money's worth and then some. Now I can shop for tires and have anyone install them.
