For some reason I remembered seeing them with sportbikes, maybe it was on a special about the making of BSG or maybe it was another MC related TV show.

Isn't it the thing to do there also..leave the dealer tag on for as long as possible to let others know it's a new vehicle?

No, but it helps to keep the dealer tag on it until you get the plates so that CHP or local PD don't pull you over for having no tags.  At least with the dealer tag on it they might assume you just purchased it and are waiting for the plates in the mail.  Can take 2-4 weeks sometimes but I've rarely had it take more than 2 personally and since I hate getting pulled over I always put the plates on as soon as I get them.

The paper in the window (on cars) is good for six months. People try putting dealer plates on and fake paperwork in the window all the time. They get to be pedestrians.

Both seem to be pretty avid riders from what Ive seen. hadn't seen the BWM photos, so that's just another notch in the avid column.

That one's new to me too - Harleys, BMWs and __________ they've either got quite a collection or access to press fleets/demos!

Why are so many riders opposed to wearing lower body protection?
