All you need...

« on: August 04, 2011, 09:42:50 AM »

Hey there,
I decided I am going to load up the Monster and head to Indy.  I need to see some MotoGP bikes in person, in all their demonic sound and fury.  Camping at the track should be an experience too.
Thought I should see if anyone else is planning to ride out there.  Always nice to have a extra bike or two along when you are dealing with older Italian motorcycle technology.

Let me know,

Cheers,
MarcuSS

Yup, my dad, brother, & his girlfriend are all heading to Indy.

It's a blast, are you sitting in the Ducati section?  (Ducati island?)

This is my first time there, so I just got some basic tickets, camping at the "festive" lot at the track, and I will just take it all in.  If I can get into Ducati Island with just an insurance card, I will definitely check that out.

If you have a Ducati, bring the key.  The key, I believe, will get you free stuff at the Island.  Everyone can get in though.

My brother, his GF, my dad, and I have tickets; Ducati Island has a grandstand inside turn 1 and that's where we will be.  It's an awesome time.  Just be sure to attend the Friday AM pit walkthrough (some MotoGP racers will sign autographs there, plus you get to see their bikes up close).

I'm debating whether or not I should trailer the Monster all the way to Indy just to ride around the track...
