prepare your dealer for when you need forks redone!...eventually you will blow a seal...

20 years of wheelies and i've never had to replace a fork seal..

just be "gentle" letting the front end down and it'll be ok.

fwiw, i'm not a fan of first gear wheelies. too torque-y and when you progress to shifting, it's getter to not have to shift across neutral.

2nd-gear mild clutch-up... fwiw, you should also be able to "power wheelie" (sans clutch) in 2nd, but it requires finesse and timing.

Ive been conducting similar experiments with my 796...I can snap it up in first at about 5000, havent really played too much with the higher gears, and like previously mentioned...im a little afraid of abusing the clutch to mess with clutching it up in 2nd.  (and im not sure it has the balls.)
