33 was good to go when i rode thru on Thursday before the Laguna GP...

Riding the 23-150-33 tomorrow so i'll let ya know when I get back.

The usual suspects are meeting around 9-ish at Inteligentsia Coffee in L.A (HWD area)...

I've ridden Cerro twice in the last month and it's just fine and dandy!

The 33 has some construction between Lockwood Valley Road and Ventucopa, but road is intact and the area is well marked so no surprises.

Lockwood is OK, other than the typical "river runs through it" sections towards the west end.

As for THE MAN, the presence has been nominal...more Rangers than fuzz.

You might also want to check out Cerro where it branches off from Mil Portrero (just north-west of Pine Mountain CLub).  Dead ends about seven miles in but has great vistas and the pavement is reasonable.

We actually saw a CHP and ranger stopped on one of the turnouts.... citing a cyclist !

-- at least it wasn't us Dolph

We did get stopped on the 101 on the return home...

Luckily: No ticket waytogo

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it
