I don't really know anything about him, but at the moment he sounds like he'd at least be a really interesting candidate.

Minimum age is 35, near as I could find out, JRP is 40.

Very interesting press release.

I spent much of yesterday thinking of posting this in the Joke Thread in NMC, which I'd argue is at least as appropriate as Racing and Track Days in the case of JRP.  Grin

The good news is that he's finally found a race in which he can't be lapped.

Three words: complete dick head!

Just another yahoo taking up valuable space and breathing up good air. Yes, this needs to be in the Joke Thread or the WTF thread. His 15 minutes (or less) of fame went out the door with Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift. bang head Tongue vomit Move along. Nothing here to see.

Given how many awkward editing cuts are in that video, you'd think he could have managed to not have places where he stumbles all over his phrases. And what in the make the beast with two backs is he even going on about? Was he actually stoned while filming this?

Also, has he not been informed that wearing a sport coat with a t-shirt makes one look like a douche?

All that said, I'd still vote for him before some of the more, uhm, legitimate candidates. Roll Eyes

whatever nuttery he has acquired, if he was president you can be certain that motorcycles would get some loving when it comes to federal highway laws

I'd just love to see a presidential track day or some presidential burnouts on the white house property!....question is...how would he decorate his SBK then?

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about him finding God in the Pacific ocean, or whatever happened. I'm not really clear on the specifics. If that puts his soul at peace, then good on him.

However, I do wish he didn't feel compelled to share so much of his personal business in a press release. Just tell us you're retiring for personal reasons or whatever, shut up about it, and let us all speculate if we care to do so. Tongue
