So, I've almost payed of my brand new bike, they said it would take 5years,  but i did it in about 1.  I don't like debt, which i guess is a good thing.

Well, now for the bad news, in the past month, i totaled my car, got a new job that requires a car, bought a car and on top of all that got into grad school.  Basically I am hurting for cash, and was wondering what i could get for my 07 M695 if push came to shove.  It is in great condition except for 2 minor issues, one there is a bit of scraping on the lowest part of the right side exhaust can.  As the dealer put it "the o s*%t sensor" from cornering a little hard.  The second, i am getting fixed, a slight nick from a rock that a truck chucked at me on the freeway.

Just curios what my  baby would fetch, if push comes to shove.

Hopefully this won't happen, but i kinda need to know

I wouldn't part ways with it just yet. With gas at $5/Gal, the bike is going to be very beneficial. When you say you have to have a car for your job, do you mean because you're always hauling stuff, or because of distance? If it's just a distance thing, use the bike. You can always join a care share, Like Zip-car, and then you'll have a roof when the weather is foul.

I haven't had a car in over 10 years, and my last commute was 100 miles, round trip, daily. And that was on a 916, rain or shine. (My girlfriend has a 4Runner, so now I have a car by default. [laugh])

Give it some serious long term thought before you decide to sell. [thumbsup]

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Even nicer if the GF has a car AND a motorcycle...  ;) ;D

+1

Grad school is supposed to make you smart like that. But you have to be clever all on your own  ;D

reason I "need" the car is that it is an outside sales job, I am nocking door to door, trying to get in to companies and speak with their CEO's.  But thanks for the push for me to keep the bike!!!
