Boomtube install, bike popping and backfiring, throttle hesitating

I have a 1100s with 1k miles on it.  I finally got my boomtubes and installed the other day and during my quick test run it ran fine.  Today I hop on to go down the street and the bike is running like shit...seems like the throttle is hesitating so I give it more gas to go and after a second or two it finally takes off so fast it almost threw me off.  It is popping and backfiring like hell and not just on decel.  I emailed Mark to see what to do to fix it.  I am not a certified mechanic by no means and am wondering after searching on here if I have a leak or what the deal is.  I do not have any warning lights on and never had any issues prior to the new exhaust install, everything is hooked up (02 sensors, duc.ee) Any help would be appreciated!  Thanks.

I installed BoomTubes on a 2009 M1100 about a year ago.  It does make the bike run a little leaner, an ECU map can fix that, but I did not experience anything like what you described.  Not sure it will fix your problem, but you might want to try reseting the TPS.

Are you supposed to use some sort of gasket or just insert the the exhaust into the headers and tighten the flange?  Maybe I don't have the exhaust seated all the way into the header?  I am also going to try switching the 02 sensors (I may have them backwards?) Thanks for the help.

I believe you are supposed to make use of the original gaskets.  Mine did not come out when I removed the stock headers.   The switched O2 sensors hypothesis sounds promising.
