i just picked up a pair of alpinestars gloves and I feel that I am not getting my fists wrapped around the grips as well now as with my old pair of gloves (MX gloves).  I think I'd feel more comfortable with smaller grips on my bars.

So my question is:  Is anyone running with smaller grips than the stockers?  What brand are they where did you get them etc.

Maybe you could try getting softer compound grips that a so to speak - more grippy. With my A*'s gloves it feels like I'm squeezing sponges, but i like it like that cause my thumb gets tired easy and it helps me relax my hands a little.
