Then stay west of Preston because I had to stop with my friend and three other bikes.  It was that bad we all shook our heads.  For the record my pig with a new front end handled awesome!

Rode the Muenster route today and I haven't seen the roads that good in years. Heavy oil field trucks have done a number on the tarmac. They must have brought in Arkansas road crews to do that good of a re-pave job! waytogo The previous attempts at fixing the heavy truck damage sucked and never lasted very long. I was impressed at the work and smoothness of the roads.

Doc's was good as always and a couple of Harley riders played hooky from work and were enjoying lunch when I got there. Other than them the ride was bikeless. Looking forward to more cooler weather Muenster runs.

For the record, that was the first bike ride I have gone on since my Arkansas ride the first week of May. I can't remember the last June-August summer when I have never ridden a bike. It's been decades. It was just too damn hot this year. Ever since I got back from AR it seems like someone left the oven door open... for 3+ months! The older I get the more I don't like the heat. The wife and I keep talking about a home in the mountains of NM or CO. I'm sick of this shit! bang head Then again, I don't like snow and cold either. Roll Eyes

I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.
