call for volunteers for La Ducati Day 2011 ... October 9th

ciao a tutti,

we are in need of volunteers to assist with La Ducati Day 2011 event, on october 9th this year.  as a volunteer, you will receive a molto cool LDD2011 staff tee shirt, and the satisfaction of knowing that you helped a great fund raising event that supports the la honda volunteer fire brigade ... these are the good men and women that rescue us when we crash on that side of the mountain ... helping them helps all of us.

there are openings for shifts to manage parking, raffle ticket sales, auction booth, garage challenge, slo race, and suspension clinic assistance.

we are using a web based volunteer management tool this year, volunteerspot.com.

so if you are interested in volunteering, please send me a PM here with your name and email address.  i will then send you an email using volunteerspot.com which will contain a link to the volunteerspot.com site, that will allow you to select a shift you want and volunteer.

OK, the boy and I are coming down in the a.m. together, but I need to peel off to head up North for a BARF event around 10 or 11.  Enzo says he'll volunteer though.  We'll be down there by 9 or so.  Does that make us eligible to help with anything.  We were thinking we might try to hit the pancake breakfast or something.  Is there a schedule of events somewhere?

firstly, grazie mille to all those who have volunteered to help out @ LDD2011 on october 9th!!! we can't do this event without the generous help of the volunteer staff.

secondly, we still have a few volunteer shifts remaining, and need to get these filled ASAP.  here are the open shifts as of friday september 16th @ 11:15am:

• parking lot management 11am-1pm
• slo race management 12pm-2pm
• parking lot management 1pm-3pm
• riders for health booth management 1pm-4pm
• parking lot management 3pm-5pm
