I may be long, but I fold up nicely

« on: June 19, 2008, 03:29:30 AM »

anyone got any first hand experience of the Rizoma mirrors?

I've gone through the 'show us your ride' thread looking for some....

making my way through the 'Official DMF bikes' thread too.

trying to decide between:

Limit:

http://www.pjsparts.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=265&products_id=490

and

Radial:

http://www.pjsparts.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=265&products_id=191

at the moment I like the lines of the radials a little better, but would love to see some Limits actually on a bike....suspect the limit looks best attached to a full sports bike (848 etc) fairing than on the bar of a monster.

Thanks in advance.

Spider they look almost identical!
Rizoma have so many different mirrors to choose from.
I bought mine more for how they would perform rather than how they would look.

Hey Spider,

I have the Rizoma Reverse Retos and they are great - Excellent quality and good vision. Even better that they don't vibrate as they are bar end mirrors. As to the two you picked - The more expensive ones look the best  laughingdp laughingdp laughingdp laughingdp

Have fun,

exactly brother! then add $25 for the adapters...you can see why, despite the advice to kill the Mickey Mouse ears, I waited until I had ordered/paid for nearly everything else before moving to mirrors.

I was shocked - I honestly thought it was for a pair when I started to look.

A good pair is priceless....has always been a motto of mine....but a good pair 'of mirrors' is $500 shipped

RSL. Nah, Workers Club.  Wink

And I paid $200 for a pair of CRG's, I don't think I could pay $500 for mirrors. Wink

yeah look I must say it hurts.
But you only do it once, unless you are Super and you drop the bike 10 secs after putting them on Cry Cry
I went through 3 other sets of cheaper mirrors before I settled on my Rizoma's and it did hurt also.
But back then I was buying up a storm and everything was kind numb when the CC bill hit the letterbox.

Thankfully......
Cause that would have been costly.
Thanks for the snap on email.

No problemo.

Not the greatest pic, as I said, I need to invest in a speedlight that's compatible with my D80. It works on my F80, but him not digital.  Angry

it's the photo of me on 848.
have a look at the Motori thread and you'll see.
