I knew what you meant.
CASA BONITA
just sounds like a lot more fun.
Not quite the same as when the Waugh's owned it, but they do have beer and margarita's now.
They must have gotten a smokin' deal on the frozen dinners when they bought 10,000,000,000 back in the '70's

I figured you knew and I was returning smart ass with smart ass response.
When you live in white trash town and you are white trash (like I was) Casa bonita is fine dining only done for special occasions.

The Waugh's lived next door to by best friend. Mom worked at the hospital right behind there.
We spent
a lot
of time there as kids.
Sadly, we still have one of our birthday's there every couple years.

The Casa Bonita in Tulsa is still there in spirit -- it's called something else now but the building is still there .... pink as ever... and it as all the same things inside (waterfalls, mariachi, etc) I also remember Crystal's pizza at the other end of the strip mall. Best food a 6 year old could ever want.

Those lucky Okies get it again!
Tulsa
The Tulsa location, which opened in 1971 [2], was designed to create a nighttime, outdoor atmosphere. There were full-size artificial trees, and the entry way featured large aquarium tanks which at one time housed live tropical fish. There were various themed dining areas, including a volcano room, complete with lighted eruptions; a cave room, and a room resembling an aristocratic dining hall with strolling mariachis. The Tulsa location also included a magic show, a video arcade, including an original Frogger machine, as well as other video and arcade games, skee-ball, a working carousel, and a gift shop. The location shut its doors Friday, 30 September, 2005 due to the end of their lease. The Tulsa location later reopened under the new name of Casa Viva. [3]. However, it then closed permanently in December 2007. Casa Bonita will soon reopen on July 1, 2008 in Tulsa at its previous location of 21st Street and Sheridan Road.

I vaguely remember Crystal’s Pizza around Havana & Alameda. I don’t think it lasted more than a couple years.
The Organ Grinder was the place for pizza in this town. Silent movies with the live organist… Funny how a lot of businesses along that stretch of Alameda have burned down… Fay Meyer’s, the Organ Grinder…
Then there was Farrell’s Ice Cream. There was a birthday party! Not that short of giving each kid a 5 lb bag of sugar and a spoon.
Ahhhhh, childhood.

We had a Taco Bueno in Cinderella City. (I miss that mall) I think the decor would have tipped you off a little to the connection.
Maybe we can coordinate with Amy, and throw you a birthday party in the street car at The Spaghetti Factory.

Hellllllloooo!
The Colorado Railroad Museum
has a caboose that they rent out for b-day parties:
Quote
Birthday Parties: Call the office for reservations in our big Colorado & Southern caboose. The caboose holds about twenty people comfortably. Fee is $150.00, which covers admission for twenty people (adults and children), exclusive use of the caboose for an hour and a half, 10" round cake, and a small donation to the museum. Over twenty guests, regular admission applies. The caboose has electric lighting, and heat can be provided in the winter.
Upon scheduling, we will clean out the caboose and lock it until the birthday group arrives. Signs will be posted that caboose is reserved for exclusive use of the party. You must supply party favors and any other needs.

You know actually I have been there and in that caboose. However that was when I was kid, now I just want strippers.
Plus the museum doesn't have a punk kid come out in a Ronald McDonald custom.
