To generate more interest, they put a Busa hump on a Monster!

I'd be seriously bent if that were the case, since a Ducati variant of the F800ST was what I'd really wanted when I bought my 796. I'd reasoned that, with the discontinuation of the ST's, Ducati had assumed no market existed and the the long-legged were simply content to ride GS/MTS-style bikes.
Not that I'm dissatisfied with my choice, but definitely a more relaxed bike with better wind protection on a 796 chassis would have rung my bell more!

Large water or oil cooler.
Tank bag & tail bag.
Either a Monster ST package or a smaller ST bike that falls into the 800cc class. It's possible there is a 796 designed to compete with the Tiger 800.

When you compare that covered pic with the side view of an 1100Evo they seem to have the same tall ass.

well it can only be a variation of the Monster since it's on the Monster site.
I truly think it's a Monster City or Monster Touring
Taller bars, luggage, etc.
