I like the black forks better.  Celli, what is the carbon bit on the left side of the bike below the frame slider and in front of the belly pan?

I like the black forks too. But I like the red more (at the moment  Grin). The airscoop was ment to be a new home for the oilcooler but is now cooling off all the stuff underneath the seat.

Fantastic bike, as everyone has already noted!!  applause Talk about a canvas with MANY layers of paint!!   waytogo

-Just a quick question out of curiosity, if you don't mind; The seat...

-I run a Sargent seat which is quite roomy compared to stock, and it's nice to be able to move forward + back depending on what style of riding I'm doing that day (spirited twistys -vs- cruising). How do you find the seat as far as roominess goes?

-Just curious.. It looks very cool!!

Johnster, thanks! I made the seat in a way that I can even move more backwards than stock (with seatcoil). It's more flat at the end, that's why. When I try to sit as far back as possible, I'm still sitting (on the seat  laughingdp).

Absolutely gorgeous bike!  This is what makes the Monster so cool.  Your bike and c_rex's are my favorite of all the bikes I've seen on the DMF, but they are VERY different.

...but I still think that the swinger should be red!   Cool

...and the sprocket/carrier could use some attention!  Grin

Is the headlight assembly from a 999?  Is it a direct bolt-on?

Thanks! Swinger: I know you like it in red. Grin  Sprocket/carrier: I'm busy in that region.  Wink
Headlight says Lamborghini. It's not a direct bold-on. The carbonunit is custommade.

Grin I can understand that you're not sure about this. I can't blame you. It will not be everybody's taste. And, indeed, they look like icecones cheeky. Here are some more pics you asked for. Wink

Thanks Chris. I just love to do this kind of modding and doing my 'thing'. Every time there is some tension though, if it will turn out right. Particularly when there is no way back.....  Grin
The helmet is from Shoei.  Wink

The carbon hugger (first part) is an aftermarket product. The second part, also carbonfiber, is custommade. The headlight I bought at a bikershow. It has a Lamborghini logo on it. Thanks.  Smiley
