Grin I recently rode with 5 other guys on a Northwest tour. We did 3461 miles over 8 glorious days and I had a blast  Dolph

We found some AMAZING roads along the way from the Central Coast of CA all the way up the coast across to Port Angeles and back down the middle of Washington/Oregon/CA.

For the heading north part of this trip we saw most of Hiway 1 and looped inland for some amazing roads and sites: The Avenue of the Giants/The Lost Coast/Coos Bay/Hiways 38, 36, 126, and 34 (AMAZING)/Coast of Washington (I could have skipped this part mostly fog and cold)/Around Olympic National Park to Port Angeles/Mt. Ranier/Mt. St. Helens (Nat Forest Road 99 and 25 are some of the best roads I have ever been on, if not THE BEST)/Hood River/Mt. Hood/Williamette National Forrest/Crater Lake/Klamath Falls/Lassen National Forrest/Lassen Volcanic Park/A lot of Hiway 89/Hiway 70 (Another Amazing road)/49/33/41 and finally HOME.

Oh, and my @ss hurt because I did this all on my Monster 1100s  applause

Hwy 34 in Oregon to/from the coast is epic. The start of Hwy 1 in N. Calif. where it peels off from 101 in Leggett (sp?) heading south is 20+ miles of pure bliss...best road ever. The front and back sides of St. Helens are also fantastic, although a bit bumpy.

Sounds like a great trip!  waytogo

34 and that whole loop around those lakes were so FUN. 4 of us had our G4's linked up and we were yelling and giggling like little girls. It was SO CRAZY. I was so amazed at how great of condition most of the roads in Oregan are (at least the ones we were on). The Forrest roads were in WAY better condition than our HIWAYS in CA. We will definitely be back up there. We actually did this ride at the end of September so I am a little IZ_ on what some of these roads were exactly. We had so much fun meeting locals on sportbikes and finding these roads or having people recomend GREAT roads. Truly an EPIC trip for sure.
