stoner def deserved the win and championship

and the most exciting motogp has had to offer recently for me is whenever simo/dovi are up against each other.  doesnt matter for which position they are fighting for, it's always fun to watch them try to outdo each other.

Maybe they should implement tire changes and fuel stops to at least shake it up a bit.  Make em have to run both compounds during the race and cut the fuel tank in half.  We'd get a few more interesting results I think.   Grin

...and eliminate right turns while they're at it Grin

A worthy champion. One of only five riders in the premier class to win championships on different makes of bike.

I, and everyone else who likes races of racing, not stopping strategy, would quit watching. Dont even joke about that.

Was nice to see Hayden at the sharp end of things, however briefly.

And the battle for second offered a bit of excitement.

It had to be demoralizing for Nicky to be passed by the Hondas on the straight.

Yeah, I'd think it'd make you sad inside to see them just breeze on by.

I think the bigger thing for Nicky is how he held that bike on the sharp end while it was bucking around the way it was...it was crazy seeing that suspension jockey him around in the transitions....

I do think it was incredibly sad though that a 17 rider grid was reduced to 10 ( really 9) finishers....

I also would have liked to have seen the aerial or outside ( not on bike) footage of the Cutchlow and Aoyoama tandem no touch dual crash....it just seemed surreal...

I thought the same thing.  What probably made it even more frustrating for Nicky was the passing Honda's were smooth and controlled.
