The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

Race two results.

http://www.cyclenews.com/articles/road-racing/2011/10/16/yamaha-one-two-in-world-superbike-finale/

Good to see the Yammyhammers finish with a bang. The grid next year just won't be the same without them. They were definitely an asset to the series this year as were both riders. Yamaha Italia can sleep well at night knowing they did well this year and thinking back to the 2009 Championship and The Ben. waytogo bow down

The article says that Corser finished 16th in his "final WSBK race". Guess that means he's going home to throw some shrimp on the barbie. If it is indeed his "final" WSBK he certainly has nothing left to prove. He walks away a great champion. Vino! applause

Where'd Guintoli's performance in race one come from!?

Hope to see some more of that next season.

where did his performance on the suzi at phillip island, race 2 last year come from?  ended up 4th eventually but he was in 2nd most of the race and he had fastest lap.

he just does that once in a while, somehow
