Hello all

I am thinking of buying a Mosnter 1100 Evo for the wife she has been riding for about 5 years. How is the ride on the bike is there any mods that need to be done to make the bike better ?

I hear that you may need to go down 1 in the front.

Thanks All

dropping a tooth in the front is the only thing I HAD to do.  Everything else was personal preference.  Why not have her do a test ride to see if she likes it?

I would love for her to test ride it but she does not like doing them. This will be her 3rd bike and she has not test rode any of them she had me do it.

Sounds like my wife.  On her third and one she feels a part of unlike the last one that lasted 2 months.
I would do a more comfortable seat and some exhaust so you can both be proud and loud  chug

14t, and termi's/ecu/air filter seem to be pretty much the norm for every duc out there right now in terms of "things to do in order to make it run better".  almost all ducs come from the factory geared high and running lean to meet emissions.

and if you dont feel like springing for the termi's, then slip ons/ecu reflash/air filter/cut air filter lid.

what was her previous ride? she might be happy just with a 696 or 796. My girlfriend test rode all three ( 696, 796, and 1100S) she ended up getting the 796. Very happy with her selection.

She really likes the bike she is now just trying to get use to it. She has been riding for about 5 years her previous bike was a BMW F650GS she has had a Ninja 650, Ninja 500 and a BMW 650 single.
