wow, what a fun treasure trove
I'd pay admission to spend time just poking through that stuff.
Museums of clean, perfect stuff can be too sterile. Everything here has a story we could all relate to.
That's why it's fun to visit a junkyard every now and again and see the special stuff that hides among the thickest brush, even if it is no longer salvageable.  Smiley

You know what that makes me want to do?

1. Clean out my bank accounts, savings and all.

2. Rent a truck

3. Head to Phily

i dont care if you have been a mechanic for 10 years doing something for a long time does not make you good at it, take my gf for an example shes been walking for 28 years and still manages to fall over all the time.

Gowie sold his business about ten years ago and did indeed move down south where he bought a farm that had some large sheds so he could put a few bits and pieces in them. He used to go to Italy and was well known at the factory as he used to buy NOS parts and I believe he ended up with a shipload of all the old stock, he use to call in at his old shop to see how Mike Soderland (new owner) was going but Mike moved to a new premises so I don't know if he still does that anymore.

He has been seen at the Ducati Owners Club of New South Wales (DOCNSW) Concourse where he sets himself up in a Marquee with a few special parts like Tanks, Barrels, Heads, Coils stuff like that, really nice bloke to talk to, you could say he is the ultimate Ducati enthusiast.
