The almighty Dollar
will rear its ugly head, and the "Big Bucks" behind the sponsors, media, et al will not want to lose ANY INCOME from MotoGP so I
think the pressure will be on to race!! Doesnt mean individual riders might not race though!?
$$$ and business before emotion!

For the sponsors it's about the money, yes. But for the teams there are still positions to be decided and fans to be considered. I think it's a bit like getting back on the horse. The riders all know the dangers of the job they love doing. Putting off racing isn't going to change that.
If it wasn't so bloody cold and wet here today I would be out riding in remembrance.

A terrible tragedy, and a great loss to the motorcycling world, he was a great character and a great racer. An "on the spot" tribute here . . .

I'm sure I'm not alone here, but it's been
really
difficulty to get over that crash.
The stark contrast between his effervescent personality and the grim stillness of the images immediately after impact.
In any case.
Great tribute from Jarno Trulli (via Mark Webber on Twitter)

Hi. I’m Troy McClure. You may remember me from such self-help tapes as “Smoke Yourself Thin” and “Get Some Confidence, Stupid!”
NYTimes: "...highlights of his global tour include encounters with Nelson Mandela, an 800-year-old demigod and a dildo collector."

Yes, I think about it a lot, and it makes me feel like crap. I think because he had such a great love of life that its particularly cruel. Also his age and so early in his career, you know if he was 34 yo or something, you could say at least he enjoyed a good 15years career .

Nice tribute by Mr Schwantz...... Gave me a deeper insight into the man behind the hair..... A warning tho, it made me even sadder after reading it.

Yeah really sad, it shows how much he used past talent to get a handle on Moto GP of today.

Yeah that's the right icon, you've gotta put the link between the brackets.
You can always just copy the link into the body of your post too.
