Well, I crashed at the track day yesterday.  The bike is torn up and I seem to have broken my scaphoid bone in my right wrist and a metatarcile bone at the base of my right index finger.  Will probably need surgery and a few screws to get it all back working properly; I won't know for sure until I meet with an orthopedic surgeon later this week.  I've got some miscellaneous bruising here and there, ligament damage in my neck and back, and stiffness pretty much everywhere else just to round out the list, D-Oh!

But I will say my leathers and helmet did their job; two chunks out of the top of my Bayliss replica helmet... Prolly just good for potting plants now, dammit  bang head

Oh well, I'm out for three months while the wrist and hand heal up.  I haven't even looked at the bike yet but I think it has seen better days  Cry

Thanks very much to Tyler, RichD, Amy, Andy, Jordan and Derrick who stayed around at the track until we could come and get the bike; y'all are awesome and we really appreciate your help  waytogo

Wishing a speedy recovery to you, Lisa. I'm here if you should need anything.

Yeah, got back late in the day so I didn't post.  The scaphoid fracture is healing OK but the metatarcle (long bone in the palm that connects the index finger at the knuckle to the scaphoid bone at the wrist) had moved out of proper alignment since it was set in the ER ten days ago.

Long story short, my hip doesn't hurt anymore...

I've got a new 3,000 pound cast and a newly reset metatarcle.  I'll go back in another week for some x-rays to see if the bone is cooperating.  If not, surgery and a few pins.
