Not that I can get out tomorrow but might I suggest, my internal GPS says you have a few options.
1. Yes you can get off at Narellan Road then use Appin road but it's a single lane road and can be dangerous.
2. Continue past Narellan Road turn off, head to Picton Road turn off, from there you can just head straight down "the coal road" past Mt Keira on onto Mt Ousley.
Or you can turn into Wilton after you get off at Picton road and go through Wilton gouge and head up into Appin.

Just my GPS thoughts.

Matty, may I have the right of reply??

Option 1; Off Narellan Rd onto Appin Rd will probably be the best one to use, it takes you straight into the metropolis of Appin, where I can meet up with my 'Convoy' mates let them refuel and escort them to the starting point.

Option 2;  Does not put us anywhere near the starting point.

Option 3; Onto Wilton Rd is not too bad, lets you have a little run through 'Broughton Pass' (its not called Wilton gorge) and will bring you into Appin

By the by, all roads are single lane out here in the sticks.

So, as usually, I'm only reading the instructions now...

It says we need to assemble at the colliery around 6.30am.
More likely to be getting there for 7am for the 7.45am briefing...

Looks like you better make it 6am Brian!

Oh and Mmick, I don't have a sticker in my pack? Hope they will let me in...

DUCMONROB

Sticker should not be a problem Nick as I will not be putting one on the green machine. Regos have been registered.

Mick what time you headding off from home? I will more than likely head off at 7am and possibly catch up with you lot in Appin?

Goldie, I was rather anal about making sure that both you and Brian had everything in your packs, I even gave one of you my instructions because it was one copy short, so all I can say is, you lost it.

I think the idea of the sticker is for the Marshals at the end point to see the sticker on your bike and let you in, I'm pretty sure that they wont have your rego details, anyway, cant find my sticker either  :-\

I will probably be up there by 7:00am, oh by the way Goldie will you be able to carry a clutch cover back for Big to use to get his (rattley) bike registered?

Mmick, by my reckoning you have about 1/2 hour before Brian gets home and starts posting pics....

monstermick58

Thanks lad's

for a highly entertaining day, I am sure Bwian will post up some incriminating photo's as per usual.

It amazed me how many people stood on the side of the road and waved and clapped, even in the middle of nowhere along Appin/Bulli Rd people gathered just to see the convoy of bikes/trucks,  truly amazing.
