Awesome bike.  Though the Panigale is not the first motorcycle to offer LED headlights--Harley beat them to that.  Ducati may be the first to offer it as the only stock option from the factory, but H-D has been selling new bikes with LED headlights off the showroom floor for at least two years now.

I thought I read somewhere that Ducati was putting LEDs on the higher end models and not all

my streetfighter has LEDs around the headlight.  I honestly think it has dramatically reduced the number of fools that pull out in front of me.   [thumbsup]

the base 1199 doesnt have the LED headlight, only the S model and up.

and the diff btwn the SF/1199 LED headlights are that the SF's lights are accent lights only... the 1199's are the main driving lights too.

though i do like the led accents on the sf, and i believe that i read somewhere that the triangular pattern of 3 lights for some odd reason tends to make people notice you more.

Interesting they went with a timing chain on this engine. Makes sense though.
