Hey guys,

I'm looking to do a "tail chop" to move the license plate up under the taillight.  I've looked up the DIY's and it seems like a little too much work for me.  Do you guys have any good shops to recommend that would do it for me?

Thanks in advance

Shieldze,

Tail chops look great but look before you leap.  For the annual safety check you will still need three reflectors on the back, a light for the license and DOT (stock) signal lights.  Also if you chop you will be subject to "swamp butt" when it rains.

You may want to check Monster Parts or other vendors to see if there's a carbon fiber shorty tail you can live with.  Then you can still do a little tidy work on the remaining stock bits.

Thanks man.  I was aware of all of that except for the reflectors.  Honestly I don't wanna get rid of it completely, I just hate that its a foot long.  I'd be happy with something thats a few inches shorter.  I'll have to shop around and see what I can find.

Thanks again

Give this a look. It might be what you are after.
