We just did a 3 day ride in the mountains of North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. I wanted to compare the 1290 SD to the V4 Tuono (which I have already ridden and loved). Unfortunately the guy with the SD did not hang out with us for very long and the roads were pretty wet.
But that bike is so beautiful.
