I'll just leave this here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=131051672366&item=131051672366&lgeo=1&vectorid=229466
From the ad:
"For sale is my KTM 690 Adventure rally bike. I built this bike to run the Mexican 1000 in Baja last april. It has a rally fairing from Rally Management Services. Safari tank, Renthal Bars, Seat Concepts seat. Also had the suspension done by Jeff Slavens at Slavens racing in Colorado. New Maxxis Desert IT tires and fresh valve inspection done at local KTM dealer. Has mount for Scotts steering dampner and frame mount for road book or gps. Looks like a 5 year old dual sport bike should look but runs and rides great. Also still street legal but will need new blinkers. Call me if you have any questions. Bobby 575-390-8177 Thanks for looking
ALSO. The bike had 14k miles when I took the odo off. Probably rode a 1000 miles since. I still have all the stock stuff i took off."

Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.
