Under jacket or jersey, but you could wear it over a T-shirt or skins top. I've seen guys wear it over skins and under race suits sized for it.
I'm getting one of those Tongue.

In case anyone was wondering, that's when you want to wear something like this:

WANT but..

Must..stop self..from..purchasing this!!

Very hard though when the Dainese store is only 10 miles away.  Plus, 3 Bros KTM is across the street and Ducati Newport Beach is around the corner.  Trying to keep a safe distance but the urge to visit these places is becoming unmanageable!

I live in SoCal. I see at least one rider wearing these or similar gear everyday. It's a smart choice in a state where you can lane split. I'd definitely wear one of these daily!  I wear full leathers for track days.

Those are very much an under an abrasion layer item. I've got a somewhat earlier rendition and that's the back and chest only - no shoulders + arms.

It's great under my 1pc track suit - but would not do for a 2 pc - unless you sized up a good bit at the waist. And if it didn't have leathers over it, it'd make the beast with two backsing shred. Fits comfortably, moves well and stays in place - but nothing in the garment aside from the hard plastics is meant to withstand sliding/shearing forces. The seams would bust all over. So for the right application, it's great - but folks wearing it with nothing on to pare in for a rude surprise if they get off at more than a few MPH

Im guilty of madman and chicken on the street.

That, sir, is practically a mutually exclusive statement!!   laughingdp laughingdp

As for not wearing that on the street that would be a personal choice but I think it's way too much.  Most of the stuff on the street that will really hurt you won't get stopped by that.

Honestly, I prefer it to the new Monsters. Just add the Monster hunched curves and it is truer to classic Monster styling. I'm not into that angular style, but that's KTM's signature style and they are true to it, so kudos to them
