I went out Saturday, I have to say I was so excited to see the 1199, in reality I am dissapointed.
Yes, the Technology is amazing (yet to be proven though) but I think it looks well... cheap. Way too much plastic for my liking. I understand that there has been a lot of money invested in R&D but for a premium brand the finish is not that good. Base model I can accept plastic bits, but on the S (and Tricolore) version it should be finished off better. And that rear shock  Roll Eyes that would have to get in the way and there are cables coming straight up through the top. I cant understand why the cables dont have a 90 degree fitting / connector that sends the cable back under the seat  Huh? I reckon that is why they put it side against the wall!
Dissapointed  Embarrassed

For me, stand out bike at the show is the Bimota DB8  drool, spectacularly presented machine.
But by far the worst presented (and looking) bike at the show was the Husky Nuda,  Lips Sealed a new model, plonked in the corner... maybe because it is so FUGLY.

Jeez Paul, all your family looks pretty good.

Nothing like the characters I was photographed with.
