Need y'all help on this one.... I have the D&D low-mount for my 750...it's a little loud and I don't really like the sound of it (sounded like a HD)  Here is the sound clip:

That sounds a little more clickety clackety than expected   Undecided

Are you sure all connections are tight and the packing is ok?

Maybe your engine needs some attention to be smoother....

I have a 99 M750 and I love the look of high mount, I'm about to buy some low mount but thats only because they are dirt cheap.

I personally like the look of high mounts. But you have to shorten them if you chop the tail.

I think the DSS Monster looks a lot better with high-mounts.  There are some high mounts that stick out way too much IMO, even with the tail unchopped.

Thanks for the links

I think I will keep the D&D as I have other required (disire) maintenance coming up.

Thanks everyone for inputs

IMO low mounts look better on a dual sided swing arm

Oh man...I like that white and black look.
I'm gearing toward the low mount too...it seem to balance the look of the bike out pretty well

one thing: what mirrors are those...you can fold them in too?

I agree with muskrat...I think if its a DSS it looks better with a low mount or an exbox...high mount takes away from the gap between the tire and seat which i really like actually.

Aesthetically, I like high mounts better.  Low mounts allow for baggage.
