On a very quick run this morning before knuckling down to some rather exciting Sunday work, I noticed that the RW cafe was completely empty and closed.
Anyone know what the story is?

The new tenant didn't sign a lease with the property owner when he bought the business.
Owner got a better offer from one of his Lebo mates so kicked him out.
This is what he told me two weeks ago boo

Uh-oh ... what's going on here?

Hmmm ... noticed as we came past on our way down last night. Had to circle back for a closer look.

Empty! Sign said ... Under new management - closed for renovations. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Has PITS also undergone a management change recently? Both places seemed to be getting worse by my reckoning. Unfortunately I think the bike crowd (both types) is seen as a captive audience.

We'll see what happens I s'pose.

Well the stop at PITS was rather quick as a result. Almost impossible to find a spot for 2 bikes & waiting for a couple of coffee's was painful. Far too many people, and way too many in spandex for my liking...

I hope they sort it all out sooner rather than later.
Let's hope the 'renovations' end up producing a better end result.

Corrugated Cafe just up the road was packed on Saturday as a result of the RW closure. A much better tasting coffee too.
