It being difficult to choose a good gift, one of the best I ever got is my electric blanket. It was not asked for nor had I ever had one, but I love my six year old one and so do my cats waytogo

mindy and I  prefer heated mattress pads.  You get the heat from the bottom, and it helps with sore backs!

When I moved back to Dallas from Austin in 1980 my first house was an old, drafty one built who knows when. It had floor furnaces (central AC but not heat) and was a cold SOB! Lots of added space heaters made it liveable. But the best part was the electric blanket on the bed! waytogo About 30 minutes before sack time I'd fire that mother up. Nothing like crawling into a toasty bed when it's chilly. Wink

When I moved back to Dallas from Austin in 1890 my first house was an old, drafty one built who knows when. It had a pot bellied stove.
