All in NYC,
A friend of mine is in a band called, Next September. They got asked to play before a few major record labels in NYC.
Don't know a time/place yet, but the question is logistics.
My friend actually lives here in Germany and the rest of his band is in Chicago. They will need a decent (read: safe cheap) place to stay (5 people) and a maybe rehearsal space.
edit: we think feb 4th is the show.
