Honey Baked spiral cut naughty child?
OK... I should avoid this thread.
I feel the Grinch taking over.
The build up to the end of the year is so overwhelming. My wife's family has like 8 December birthdays on top of the Xmas stuff and friend's Xmas parties, etc... It's a mind blow. Come on January 1st!!!!
Get it over with.

Me & My sister in December, my wife, her mom, brother, dad, and grandfather in January. Yup. I know what you're feeling. Add to that I'm halfway between Christmas and New Years.

Wikipedia totally niced that one up. The birch branches and chains are there for Krampus to scourge bad kits with - though some takes on it have the chains as manacles or cuffs representing control or dominion over Krampus by the church. You'll see illos where he's holding them, scourges, or they are manacles.
There's also Krampusnacht

Some friends of ours are starting up a micro brewery, and name their winter seasonal after Krampus; we just got our allotment yesterday:
They announced it with this delightful image of the beer's namesake:
Seriously, what's with the tongue?

I wish I would of ordered some of the ornaments several days ago. We're leaving this morning to go have Christmas with the family. My clergy parents would of loved finding some Krampus ornaments snuck onto their Jesus tree
