I will save Skynet from Sarah Connor

Since its cold out now the shift knob in my car os absolutely freezing.  The V6/6spd accords have a metal shift knob and every time I grab it it tries to extract my soul through my palm.

I asked Rootchick for a knitter's solution. Here's what she came up with.

She published the pattern on Ravelry.com and named the pattern Hell on Wheels

my car would reject even that as the German mentality is ,"I am cold therefore you will be until I am ready"  cheeky

I've got a carbonfiber shift knob and it still gets cold.  Not as much as the aluminum one use too..  I just use my driving, handball, weightlifting gloves....

My Mercedes has a heated shift knob.

No not really, but it does have an air conditioned glove box.

I've heard of heated steering wheels on BMW's. Wouldn't surprise me if the shifters were heated too.
