"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I wore an ARAI RX-7  for years.

When it came time to replace the 'replacement' model didn't fit the same.

had the same problem, got an XD3 instead

Wha?   Italian bike, Italian helmet...makes sense to me.  OK, maybe some models are made in China or Korea, or whatever, but they are designed and styled in Italy and are very good helmets.  Unfortunately, they dont fit my big  ol' fat head...I bought an S4 in the red/white stripe scheme (perfect for a red/white S2R!), but it didnt fit right and I had to return it.  Looked really nice though!

are you sure he wasn't just pulling your leg?

i have never heard or read anything about bad quality associated with agv helmets. see the rossi reference...

i have the above mentioned s4 in red and white, which fits my noggin perfectly. also fits my red s2r. :) love it.

sounds like the guy was just jealous that he can't handle a Duc and has to ride a hog. you wear what fits, and what you can afford. I have been picking up good gear as it come on sale and I have money. So far I have been able to get helmets as raffle prizes and eventually I'll actually pay for one. right now I rock a matte black fulmer ss, but dainese pants jacket and boots. Welcome home and Semper Fi

here's what I look for in a helmet
fit, safety rating, price

here's what I don't look for in a helmet
brand, who's wearing it

I don't generally like using helmets with number or replicas, but I would defnitely rock this one:

Has anyone ridden the AGV Grid???

They're only taking preorders, so I think that's too early.

It replaces the T2 and is second after the GP Tech.
