"Life is 'living'; and 'living' is 'achievement'. To live is to attain something that is not already clearly owned or only potentially owned. But for this attempt to attain the 'unattained', life would be a mere vegetation, a cogitation and therefore a stagnation. There must be a thrill, an adventure, and an aspiration, a hoping; otherwise, living would be moribund if not mechanical. "

Sounds like Raja spent too much time pondering and writing (V3, P4, C27 laughingdp) ... if he wanted to live ... all he needed was a Monster Grin

Not that this particular mere mortal can afford these right now, but here they are:

KTM 690 SBK (if they make it and if it's available in the 'States)

916-era SBK to strip and build as a naked 4V sport bike

Daytona 675 to do the same as above

--or maybe I should just buck-up and finish the CR.

But it looks so good leaning up against the wall of your garage. All dissasembled and shit Wink

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Seem to be quite a few people wanting Sport 1000s.   Cheesy

Well, now that I have that CT-70 that I've been wanting, since I owned a little blue one in 1970, and have another little blue one now, it's that Tuono V4.

I grew up on Beemers.  That's a pretty awesome scoot right there.

Have to admit, that's not my bike, but there is an HP2 enduro in the garage waiting for warm weather (!) and mods.   The one pictured above was at the 2010 Pike's Peak event, but didn't race due to a crash in qualifying.

I'm really wanting something with a sidecar....just not sure what.

I like the Urals, but I'm somewhat afraid of Russian reliability  laughingdp

Not sure it that is a real concern or not. There is a guy around here that has one...I've seen him on the side of the road more than once with his wife's car parked behind the bike...and a not so happy look on her face  laughingdp

any suggestions?
