Purchased a 2012 monster several weeks ago and learning more and more about mods, tech, maintenance etc.

Question is what are the difference in parts between 2011 and 2012 monster 696? If I look for aftermarket mods will 2011 items fit on the 2012?

I appreciate the help!

No difference unless it's the ABS vs non-ABS model

Some 696's have ABS, some do not....has nothing to do with the year.  has to do with whether you wanted it, and you paid for it. I wanted a black 696 but they didn't have it with ABS so i had to settle for white.  i have a 2011 white 696 with ABS.  As far as i know, nothing has changed...yours is just newer.
