Just watched the 20 min video on apple site showing the features of the iphone.
Man I really can't wait to get my hands on this device now.
Just waiting to see if the Apple store will be selling them outright and how much.
Or will call Telstra to see if i can upgrade my contract to include iphone and a data package.

I asked my Telstra dealer about it last week. They had NFI about the pricing of plans. They also suspected that supply would be thin for Telstra dealers but not a problem for Apple dealers.

I've been watching the shenanigans that has been the launch of the 3G iPhone with great interest,

The Telstra early effort with very few details, only now coming out with some, and they are crap, as expected. miniscule data, $25 of calls, big handset costs

the Optus plan release which turns out to be the leader, reasonable data, calls, price

and Vodafone which has royally screwed up, left their release up till the last moment, and they still got it horribly wrong.

It is extremely tempting, not sure whether to go with Optus or Vodapwned.

I don't know whether I should wait or get it now, I can't see the hype over this phone dissipating which for me means, the price won't drop that much.
