Came across these on -bay & they look interesting, anyone have experience?

They work as advertised - clever design if you ask me.

Only reported 'problem' is that they move your feet out a little, but I guess that's subjective.

They are great.  The look isn't as compatible as I'd like (S2R) but they work as advertised.

yeah...I thought they might be kind of fun to try.....
I am 6' and I am about to install rear 30mm rear risers (hoop) and thought might give these a try as well
u guys see any conflict issues doing both?

u guys see any conflict issues doing both?

I don't see a conflict, but a 30 mm hoop raise will change your bike some.
No FHE with it, but maybe you should adjust a little first and see how high you are comfortable with?

BTW - where did you get your hoop risers?

I got the spacers from a member here on the board.  I placed an ad in parts wanted...even had another member offer his extra set.
Regarding the 30mm rear situation...I do plan to raise my forks back up in the triples if need be...I have about 8mm there.
It really seems to be a touchy subject with a lot of riders (love it or hate it) situation!?
Since they are a simple bolt on, if I don't like them...their out.

Most of these are sold as separate pieces - you can buy both arms now or another one later.

Both will feel very different.

I am 6'
with 33' inseam

also, wondering now will I be able to retain stock shifter & brake
Always had wondered about the reverse shifter as well....thoughts?

BTW  there are some differences between Monster models regarding fit. Back when the original German manufacturer was the only source for them AND screwed up their model/part # charts, people kept getting the wrong brackets and had to grind them down to fit. The SSR brackets CAN NOT fit all the models they list, so be prepared.

You'll be able to keep your stock foot controls, but it could be a good idea to check how you need to adjust them and see if that's possible. I'm not sure you can adjust down 30 mm, as an example. If you can't, and still like these, there are aftermarket gear shift rods. Not sure about aftermarket brake pedals...

Yeah, I am prepared to do some fine tuning on the peg fit...I have a grinder!!

Exactly, I have a used seat coming too....which I plan shave the back , (just before the cowl)
Flat so I have more leg room
I think by raising the rear, new footrests moved back along with the new seat
I might be a little more spread out on the bike

Best thing about doing these mods ...fairly cheap, & they're all reversible
I ll let u now how they turn out

Also to note, the footpegs of this type must space out the feet more over stock position for the hinge - so this makes the bike slightly wider.  For many, this is not a problem - but Monsters have wide "American Cowboy" seating and feat position to begin with!


For raising the forks in the triples and adjusting the hoop height, I suggest you take measurements and do math to find your motorcycles angle, rake, trail, and wheel base!  When you adjust the angles of the suspension linkage, you may also need to adjust the settings of your shock to compensate.
