As I ride the "Old Girl" regularly, no matter the weather! Has anyone who runs the K&N crankcase breather had issues with water ingestion?? 

No but I had trouble with oil misting over the rear hugger. It was getting messy so I switched back to the OEM box. I thought about relocating but figured it would still mist in the new location.

Touched up a few stone blemishes with the Anniversary Red paint that came in the mail today.

Looks much better. I'll have a better idea though when the bike is out of the garage in the direct sunlight. Can't do that today as it's raining!

I can see how that would happen with it being so close to the rear hugger. On my bike, it's tucked up away nicely under the rear left of the tank.

Had a good 150 km ride today, meeting my bro and one of his mates at Kinglake.

When we got back to his  joint, we bled the rear as the fluid was pretty cloudy.

When I got home, I changed the oil and filter.

A nice day with the Monster all round.

Reupholstered my aging seat cover. I bought a replacement cover from HT MOTO, stripped the old one off, a bit of patience, some stretching and a few hundred staples later ... here's the result ...



I choose the "black carbon fibre" for the panels, with "black non-slip" for the seat and passenger pads, with red accented stitching.

Brian has been honing his spanner skills again without a chaperon
Rob being in Italy researching all things Tri colour and Paul being too busy at the animal control center for
dangerous dogs with his vicious guard dog  "Ferris" after numerous complaints at the Bayview dog park.
So I had to come over to assist ,drink good coffee and then test ride the 749 and the 1198
