Since it was so stinking hot today I went to SCA and got some pinstriping. Made myself a crude applicator and applied. I think it came out ok.

Was getting a lil dark so this photo didn't turn out to clear -

I took off my bar-end mirrors, replaced the open clutch cover with the stock one and adjusted my Rizoma pegs a little higher on the rearset because I'm off to CSS at PI on Sunday (Yay!) waytogo

This is my second attempt to do level 1, after last year's aborted go when I snapped my Achilles tendon playing squash only 6-days before the event in September and the buggers wouldn't let me reschedule because it was inside the minimum 7-day refund period. I ended up selling the place for $200 online at a $350 loss. I swore at the time I wouldn't go back but there just aren't any alternatives really, apart from track days but they aren't the same thing. Wish me luck  Wink

Sundog there are alternatives.
Bernie Hatton's "Top rider" runs a variety of training schools all over the country.
Not as regimented as the one you mentioned worth a look  waytogo
Their track ride day and set up course at E.C. is fun educational cheap and friendly.
Im going again in Feburary.

Once upon a time if somebody was planning on attending a course they would post up on the forum asking if anybody else might be interetsed in joining them.

I have _never_ had as much fun as I did at superbike school. My god what a blast.

I'm quite excited as well Suzy, I've never had the opportunity to ride on a track before, ignoring traffic, road conditions, speed cameras and, to a certain degree, other riders. The weather is looking good for Sunday, 20c and sunny which is a miracle for PI. They've just resurfaced the track and so I expect to need a new set of tyres immediately after, good job I'm taking the bike on a trailer.

Anyone else have the phenomenon of magically disappearing bolts off their Duc? Got home the other day and the sidestand pivot bolt was gone. Yesterday riding along and went shift up a gear and WTF?? No gear lever. It was resting by the linkages on the side stand. Pivot bolt gone.

Sounds like good old bevel days.
If you go for a ride and nothing falls off you haven't ridden far enough.

Nice little run up to Church Point with a mate who is brand new to riding. Great run but I tell you 90% of cyclists are giving the other 10 a bad reputation, it's called etiquette people show some respect...

Yep agree with you there Brett, had a shocker of a ride with them the other weekend.

On a bike note mine went to D Moto for some fork seal work, they were gushing like like a new bride.

Took the Thunder Monster out of moth balls after 6 weeks away.  Grin
Battery not so good so a kick started fixed that.  Undecided
Running a bit rough so a blap up the road fixed that.  Dolph
Thunder Monster is go......   waytogo

Where is that located? I've got the opposite problem. The front brake often wont activate the brake light. Going to have a look this weekend...
