Bought some reco front forks for it!
The front end as it stands is way to soft, with the stock spring.
This new set has springs 0.98, which are more accommodating of my er, ahem, weight! 😉

Ran an earth cable from the frame bracket that connects to the battery earth cables, down to the external bolt running  through the case to the starter motor. It gives an extra earth lead to to both the starter and the engine case. More detail in Tech section. Starter cranks faster.
Bike is an older carbed 900 with hi comp pistons, so the starter can use all the help it can get.

I found your forks too soft and vague feeling. Good move.

Well, when we fit these items up, I reckon we'll have that rectified!

Hopefully next weekend. 👍🏻

Really looking forward to a decent ride too!

With the front fork change tomorrow, hopefully I'll have good news to report about the front end.

The good Bro and I installed the forks and set the static sag.

Then four of us went for a spin through the hills!

The forks? Excellent, just what the Dr ordered!
