G'day Brian, thanks for the welcome. I'm a Queenslander mate, in Toowoomba.

So I'm guessing you would do the Hampton twisties a fair bit?

G'day Twizted, mate you're no stranger to the Darling Downs are you? I must confess I haven't done the ride down to Esk in a good while, but I have done it many times on previous rides. The twisties in the Peachester ranges behind Maleny are really nice and quite do-able on a day trip from Woombie.
cheers

I'm currently located in the Ipswich area so I have done them a few times. I mostly get to Mt Glorious for most my riding. I used to live on the sunny Coast so am familiar with the Peachester range. Ma Ma creek is a nice run not to far from you.

Did the Ma ma Creek loop back out to Clifton then home about a month ago, the floods back in '11 have made a mess of the roads. Might do a run down to Glorious as soon as I get a new thong on the front.

Hey Greg,

Gotta luv the matte black 659 waytogo waytogo.

I've got a tail tidy waiting to go, but i am unsure about putting it on yet as it seems there is a bit of a blitz going on around here with the HWP............

How does it go with the termi's??

Hi everyone.  New to this forum so just introducing myself.  From north side of Brisbane and ride a 2013 monster 1100.  Have had a few Triumph's but finally got my duc so can cross it off my bucket list.  Added termi kit, grab rails and oggy knobs so far and just enjoy clocking up the k's.  Looking forward to many long days carving up the back roads.  Cheers.

So far so good, is real upright..mrs even prefers it.  A lot of my pain was pushing the old harley home.

G'day all,
My name is Ben, I'm Perth based.
Ride is a 2008 M695, I've had it since new and it has 25,000km on the clock.
I haven't done too much to it, 14t at the front, flat bars and bar end mirrors, pazzo levers and recently cored stock cans.
The bike has been off the road for a while, but I recently got it back up and running. I now remember why I love this bike so much.
Some poor experiences with dealer servicing  bang head have led me to begin doing my own work on the bike. Can't be too much different to a 4WD right?  Wink
Workshop manual, parts and tools are in the post and over the Christmas break I'll be doing the valve shims, timing belts and a few other bits and pieces.
I've found enough helpful info on here to inspire me to have a crack at it.
Cheers
