welcome Jake....good choice iof machine, it's certainly been loved and taken care of. Ducati's are one of those things were the service history and some TLC are definitely important in the buying decision.

Enjoy the ride!  waytogo

G'day Guys,
Name is Shane from Melbourne. Returned to 2 wheels after a long absence (living in exotic places a bike will get you killed just a little too easily). Picked up a new 800S2R after moving home, owned a MHR 1000 in a previous life, and a Guzzi Le Mans too. Only complaint about the new Duke, it is too quiet, but how to get a nicer note without forking out thousands for an after market system? Cheers.  Cool

Hi everyone.

Longtime lurker. Sorry for being antisocial!

Tim from Coogee, NSW
Bike: 2006 Black 620
Shiny stuff: not enough but..
some little carbon bits - rear hugger, side covers, low mount Remus cans (love how the cf doesn't get hot on them, neighbours hate the lack of baffles in them)

and some bar risers. Rizoma grips and bar ends (thank you spider).

One day I'll take a photo.....

it's getting to be a concern....we now have members who have Spider Imports parts on their bikes and THEN they introduce themselves. I'm like the swine flu on a connex train, boy do I get around!

welcome Tim...I really think you should go in and change your sign in to Hairybutt though  Wink

Geez

You use the cubicle next to Spider ONCE and somehow he seems to know all your attributes!

What was with all that foot tapping?

I've been away so long it counts as a new member I think! Smiley

So, yeah, way back at the start of the year I broke up with my fiancee. Moved out, got stuck in a share house for a few months, been absolutely flat out at work, etc etc. Saddest thing is I had to leave behind two awesome dogs, one of which I spent most of the time training Sad. Now in my own place, with reliable and consistent internet and 5 minutes to scratch myself again. (I am off to Sydney and Townsville next week though).

For those that don't know me, the real name's Richard, everyone calls me Choppa, and I ride an '06 S2R1k down here in Canberra. I'm a geologist, I work for the govt, and I'm looking for new opportunities now I have a little more freedom in my life.

Hi everyone, my name is Paul. I live in Manly in NSW.

I have had my S4RS for a week now. It is a massive step up from the old VTR250 (hehe).

I embarrass this bike! I thought I could ride, but it feels like I'm starting all over again.

Did an 6 hour loop up around the Putty Road on the weekend, my first 'real' ride. I am keeping the revs pretty moderate during its run in, but it is an awesome feeling up around 6k, it seems like the bike is just starting to sing!

I am in love. See you out there.
