Hi Damo,
Welcome aboard, I see you finally found us. If you are interested we have a day ride happening early December, think it is the 4th but check out the ride thread, should be close to the top.  They are well organised rides catering for all types, from L's to experienced.......It's not a race, more so a group of people with a similar passion enjoying a day out plus a chat. Our main aim is to have all riders arriving home safely with a smile on their face mate.
Enjoy    !

Thanks for the welcome guys.... I can't make the ride on the 4th, but I should be able to get out for the next one. Hopefully I'll have my bike modded to a suitable level by then as well Wink

Name: Joel
Ride: 2 week new LAMS Monster 659 Dark Stealth. Also, Honda CRF230F for the loose stuff.
Do: Web development and design.
Think: Thinking is good.

New to riding, only had my Ls a few weeks. My Little Black Duc goes in for its 1000km service next week. Looking at getting the 14T sprocket and that much-needed tail-chop. Not sure where the pesky L plate will go then though...

Thanks for the warm welcome, all. Great community you have here.

Betty, I'm in Kew, Melbourne.

DosVerde: I wish! Only had the CRF a couple of months and ridden it only one weekend at a large farm in Flowerdale. That's when the two-wheel bug hit me and I knew I'd be buying a roadie, ASAP.

Tikfd6: already besotted with the 659. Will definitely report back about the 14t sprocket.

Cheers!
