"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Hmmm... Saw one at Duc Pond when I picked up my bike. Just looked and they are no longer in the DNA Store, so must have been discontinued. Can't have sold many as most people use a Battery Tender Jr. for $30 and Donnie delivers new bikes with the Battery Tender pigtail.

On the new bikes, this DP charger plugs into the computer terminal. It does more than simply charge but I forget just what. Does your 800 have the same terminal as the new bikes?

Sad I gave my dealer a call to ask him how much this Ducati charger would cost. When I picked myself up off the floor, I decided that my 10 year old Optimate was still up to the job, especially as, after a word with the dealer principal, they agreed to fit a pigtail to my Evo free of charge! The set up works perfectly. If I remember correctly, they wanted £180 for the DP charger. I'd be very surprised if they ever sold a single unit!
